Cofabel is the importer and distributor in Belgium for John Deere agricultural equipment and machines for turf groundcare as well as homeowner products. John Deere exists for already over 183 years and is the undisputed market leader with a very strong reputation. Besides John Deere, Cofabel also imports and distributes top quality equipment from Kramer, Wiedenmann, Turfco, Smithco, Tru-Turf, Wessex, Jensen and GKB. Currently we operate out of three sites in Belgium (Erps-Kwerps, Wingene and Vinalmont) and we are one of the strong brands of the Arvesta group of companies, which is the main supplier to agriculture and horticulture in Belgium.
The Sales Specilist Golf develops sales and provides assistance towards Golf Courses in Belgium. You will call on golf courses, contractors, consultants or architects, promoting our product portfolio and educating customers on the benefits of our solutions.
Responsible for growing sales and market share within the territory.
Actively visit all golf courses to identify needs on course maintenance, renovations and new constructions.
Create “solution-focused” packages to include our wide range of products and aftersales technical support packages for golf course customers.
Deliver products & systems demonstrations in front of specialized audiences of green-keepers, course managers, course owners, contractors, specifiers.
Use his/her knowledge to work effectively at various customer levels in educating and successfully selling the Cofabel solutions.
Ensure the permanent update of opportunities and our customers’ database via SAP CRM.
Work closely with your Sales Director to outline Cofabel’s complete range of capabilities to decision-makers.
Requires intensive traveling up to 75% of the person’s time throughout Belgium.
Thorough understanding of golf course groundcare and machinery needed to get the jobs done
Ideally bilingual French/Dutch. At a minimum fluent in the other language besides the mother tongue
Excellent written and verbal skills in Dutch, French and English
Experience as a greenkeeper, course manager, or with a golf industry solution provider (contractor, architect…) is a definite plus
Demonstrable ability to achieve sales results individually and with others
Ability to work autonomously
Capable of writing compelling offers
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills and strong sense of urgency to close deals
As with the golf swing, following through is hugely important
Ability to have good, meaningful and intelligent conversations with people from all types of backgrounds and interests: golf club owners, golf club presidents, golf club board members, head greenkeepers, greenkeepers, contractors etc.
Computer savvy. Must be able to work – or quickly learn to work – with Google Cloud solutions and Microsoft 365
Preferably living somewhere centrally in the territory
